Ferro, Jr. Assistant Superintendent of Schools Whitman Hanson Regional School District 610 Franklin Street Whitman, MA 02382 Dear Assistant Superintendent Ferro: I have received the petition of Dawn Byers appealing the response of the Whitman Hanson Regional School District (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 6, 2023 Ms. Byers stated, “[c]an you please email me a report that includes individual staff salaries, positions, building location and staff names that tie out to the FY24 proposed budget totals for the following salary accounts: 5100[,] 5105[,] 5130[,] 5140[,] 5200[,] 5300[,] 5320[,] 5330 [and] 5340” On February 6, 2023, the School provided a response indicating that it is working on the request. On February 16, 2023, the School provided a further response asserting, “[w]e anticipate producing the requested information within 10 business days by February 23, 2023, barring any unforeseen issues.” On February 24, 2023, Ms. Byers petitioned this Office, and this appeal was opened. In her petition, Ms. Byers asserts, “[a]s of today, Feb 24th, I have not heard any reason for delay nor have I received the requested records.” Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the School provided Ms. Byers with a response, and the responsive records on February 27, 2023. Conclusion Accordingly, where the School has provided the responsive records to Ms. Byers, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
