See G. L. c. 66, §10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 21, 2022, Mr. Mazurczyk requested: Attached please find [named] officer wireless phone call log fully redacted. It Appears these records represent month of January, 2021. It’s unclear why call time/date/duration, city from where call originated and destination city are redacted. Please provide requested records without redactions or provide applicable exemption(s). The Town responded on January 3, 2023. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. Mazurczyk petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0592, was opened as a result. Based upon a communication between a Public Records Division senior attorney and a Department representative, it is my understanding that the Department intends on providing a further response to Mr. Mazurczyk. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Mazurczyk with said response in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Mazurczyk may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
