G. L. c. 66, § 10(c). As required by law, it is my understanding that the Department furnished a copy of this petition to the requestor. Id. On March 16, 2023, Heather Bellow, of The Berkshire Eagle, requested records relating to “[c]opies of all nine rate increase request applications from Housatonic Water Works Co. between 1956 and 2015, and final notices of approval of those increases (and how much was approved).” In an email to this office dated March 31, 2023, Ms. Bellow states, “I’ve told [the Department] that we can be patient on this one.” Conclusion In light of the above, it is unnecessary to opine on the Department’s petition seeking an extension of time.
