See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 20, 2023, Ms. Barnes requested “[a]ny and all documentation, emails, text messages, correspondence, meeting summaries, etc. related to the incident that happened in the BMHS parking lot on February 2, 2022.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Barnes petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0658, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided Ms. Barnes with a response dated April 13, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s lack of a written response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Barnes may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
