The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records May 1, 2023 SPR23/0746 Colleen M. Mejia, Esq. City Solicitor City of Everett 484 Broadway Everett, MA 02149 Dear Attorney Mejia: I have received the petition of Joan P. Beckta appealing the response of the City of Everett (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 2, 2023, Ms. Beckta requested, “[r]eports of the various revenue and expense (and any other) accounts for linkage fees. Report should include who the linage fee was paid by and if any have been paid out, who the money was paid to.” On February 13, 2023, the City responded providing responsive records. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Ms. Beckta petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0746, was opened as a result. In a communication dated April 25, 2023, the City provided an email to this office and Ms. Beckta which indicated all responsive records have been provided. In an email dated May 1, 2023, Ms. Beckta informed this office she wishes to withdraw the administrative appeal. Accordingly, per Ms. Beckta’s request to withdraw her appeal, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Joan P.
