See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 24, 2023, Mr. DeMeo requested “... the minutes of the meeting for March 27th, 2023…” On April 16, 2023, the City responded with responsive records. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Mr. DeMeo, petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0851, and was opened as a result. Based upon a conversation between a Public Records Division staff attorney and a City representative, it is my understanding that the City intends on providing a subsequent response to Mr. DeMeo. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. DeMeo with said response, in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. A copy of the response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. DeMeo may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
