G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 29, 2023, Mr. Aldana requested all records regarding a particular murder investigation. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Aldana petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0927, was opened as a result. Subsequently, a representative of the City provided a response to Mr. Aldana on May 8, 2023. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
