G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 11, 2023, Mr. Guzman requested various records relating to a named Department Captain’s car accident and various Department policies. On April 14, 2023, the Department responded and indicated that they were withholding records pursuant to Exemption (f) of the Public Records Law. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Guzman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0935, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Guzman’s request with a further response sent on May 17, 2023. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s April 14th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Guzman may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
