See G. L. c. 66, §10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 6, 2023, Ms. McGowan requested, “policies and procedures for special education… available to the public when signing the SEPPS (special education program plan statement).” The School responded on March 9, 2023. Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. McGowan petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0959 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided a further response on May 16, 2023. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s March 9th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. McGowan may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s May 16th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
