Galvin Town Clerk Town of Milton 525 Canton Avenue Milton, MA 02186 Dear Ms. Galvin: I have received the petition of Cindy L. Christiansen appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Milton (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 6, 2023, Ms. Christiansen requested the following records: [1] The joint select board and school building committee charge[;] [2] Records presented and used to develop reports and presentation on Milton school enrollment. Please include records containing the actual and projected enrollment (by grade or grade groupings) for the last 10 years, information on what NESDEC uses to make its projects…[.] Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Christiansen petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/1014, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, it remains unclear whether the Town has provided a response. As such, the Town is ordered to provide Ms. Christiansen with a response to her request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. Ms. Christiansen may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
