G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv). As required by law, it is my understanding that the Department furnished a copy of this petition to the requestor. G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv). On May 3, 2023, Louisa Moller, of CBS, requested: [1] All emails between [an identified individual] and [another identified individual] containing the words “SRO,” “investigation,” and “school”[;] [2] All texts between [an identified individual] and [another identified individual] from 2021 to present[;] [3] All texts between [an identified individual] and [another identified individual][;] [4] Record of all investigations or internal complaints into School Resource Officers at the Hopkinton Police Department[;] [5] Record of all investigations into [an identified individual] during his entire career at Hopkinton Police Dept.[;] [6] [A]ll emails between Massachusetts State Police investigators, the Middlesex District Attorney’s office and [an identified individual] from 2022 to present[.] On May 24, 2023, the Department stated, “the requestor has refined their request to a more manageable level and we are working to fulfill the request.” Conclusion In light of the requestor’s modification, I find it is unnecessary to opine on the Department’s time and fee petition at this time.
