Box 135 Lunenburg, MA 01462 Dear Ms. Lemieux: I have received the petition of George Burden appealing the response of the Town of Lunenburg (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 26, 2023, Mr. Burden requested “any and all available invoices, contracts, or any other documents related to the landscaping of the Town of Lunenburg in purchasing landscape products including but not limited to: grass seed, fertilizers, etc.) for landscaping services and products.” Previous Appeal This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR23/1018 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (May 17, 2023). In my May 17th determination, I closed the appeal where I learned the Town provided Mr. Burden with a response dated May 15, 2023. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. Burden petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/1103, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided further responses dated May 23, 2023 and June 5, 2023 to Mr. Burden. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s May 15th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Burden may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s May 23rd and June 5th responses within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
