See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 25, 2023, Mr. Johnson requested “…a copy of the renewal application submitted in 2020, 2021 and 2022 for the following City of Boston taxicab medallion numbers…” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Johnson petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/1310, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided a response to Mr. Johnson on June 21, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Johnson may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
