Ferry appealing the nonresponse of the City of Fall River (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 24, 2023, C.J. Ferry requested “... proof of ownership of the land in which the picnic area was created by [a named individual] [and] how the project received numerous donations without the approval of the City Council.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, C.J. Ferry petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/1324, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided C.J. Ferry with a response dated June 16, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. C.J.
