See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 26, 2023, Shelby Lee requested: [1] Any and all policies regarding Easthampton Public Schools student unenrollment processes and procedures from August 1, 2021 to May 1, 2023. [2] Any and all documents and communications - including but not limited to emails and text messages- regarding student unenrollment by staff members of Center-Pepin from September 1, 2021 to September 31, 2021. [3] Any and all documents and communications - including but not limited to emails and text messages- regarding student unenrollment by Allison Leclair from September 1, 2021 to September 31, 2021[.] Prior Appeal The requested records were the subject of a prior appeal. See SPR23/1315 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (June 28, 2023). In my June 28th determination, I closed the appeal after the School indicated that it would provide a further response. On June 29, 2023, the School responded and indicated that it possessed responsive records for Item 1 of the request. Further the School provided a fee estimate for records responsive to Item 2, and indicated that it had no responsive records regarding Item 3 of the request. Objecting to the fees and unsatisfied with the School’s response, Shelby Lee petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/1538, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School intends on providing a further response to Shelby Lee.
