McGowan, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Duxbury Fire Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 29, 2023, Attorney McGowan requested records related to a May 15, 2014 motor vehicle accident located at the intersection of Standish Street and Captains Hill Road. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Attorney McGowan petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/1636, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Attorney McGowan with a response dated July 17, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
