See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 12, 2023, Mr. Charles requested, “...a complete copy of [an identified] case file ... for an incident that occurred in Everett on ... 10-2- 2019.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Charles petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/1825, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Office provided a response to Mr. Charles on August 8, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Office’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Charles may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s August 8th response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
