Assistant General Counsel Records Access Officer Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority 10 Park Plaza Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Ciollo: I have received the petitions of Jack Taylor appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) to requests for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). SPR23/2206 On August 6, 2023, Mr. Taylor requested “... video recording footage from a green line type 9 vehicle.” SPR23/2209 On July 4, 2023, Mr. Taylor requested, “... footage of a green line train camera traveling from end to end, and this vehicle ran end to end at this time.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Taylor petitioned this office and these appeals, SPR23/2206 and SPR23/2209, were opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the MBTA provided Mr. Taylor with a response dated September 20, 2023. Where these appeals were opened as a result of the MBTA’s lack of a written response, I will now consider these administrative appeals closed. Mr. Taylor has appealed the MBTA’s September 20th response which has been opened as SPR23/2241.
