See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 31, 2023, Mr. Herman requested, “copies of any and all communications related to UMass Dartmouth recently vacating a downtown New Bedford building that once was a department store.” The City responded on September 15, 2023. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/2207, was opened as a result. In an email dated September 18, 2023, Mr. Herman informed this office that he wishes to withdraw his appeal. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
