The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records September 29, 2023 SPR23/2225 Stephen Crane Town Manager Town of Ipswich 25 Green Street Ipswich, MA 01938 Dear Mr. Crane: I have received the petition of Meredith A. Fine, Esq., of the Law Office of Meredith A. Fine, appealing the response of the Town of Ipswich (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 24, 2023, Attorney Fine requested records related to “…the proposed public safety building at 36 Linebrook Road/4 Pineswamp Road.” The Town provided a response on August 21, 2023. Unsatisfied with the response, Attorney Fine petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/2225, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided Attorney Fine with a further response dated September 26, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s August 21st response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Fine may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s September 26th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Meredith A.
