See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 6, 2023, Mr. Jimbob requested “the reports and the names and badge numbers of the officers involved with” an incident at a specified address. The Department responded by requesting Mr. Jimbob to submit his request via its online portal. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Jimbob appealed, and this case was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned that the Department provided a supplemental response by email to Mr. Jimbob on October 12, 2023. As this appeal was opened based on the Department’s earlier response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If unresolved issues remain, Mr. Jimbob may further appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s October 12th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
