Beijer appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Hopkinton (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 4, 2023, Ms. Beijer requested the following records: All Selectboard minutes between March 1st 2023 through October 4, 2023 to include minutes that show meetings opened in public to convene in executive session under Chapter 21. (a)(1) to discuss reputation, discipline etc…any and all minutes in that time frame that mention [an identified police officer]. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Beijer petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/2482 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned the Town provided a response to Ms. Beijer on October 20, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. It is my understanding that Ms. Beijer has appealed the Town’s October 20, 2023 response resulting in a new appeal which is currently opened as SPR23/2490.
