See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 27, 2023, Ms. Villeneuve requested “…[a]ll records from 2000 to present of reports of sexual misconduct committed by school employees who do not hold an educator license…” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Villeneuve petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/2523, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided a response Ms. Villeneuve on October 30, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. It is my understanding that Ms. Villeneuve has appealed the Department’s October 30, 2023 response resulting in a new appeal which is currently opened as SPR23/2630.
