The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records November 7, 2023 SPR23/2548 Shirley Dorai Records Access Officer Malden Public Schools 110 Pleasant Street Malden, MA 02148 Dear Ms. Dorai: I have received the petition of Malden News Network appealing the response of the Malden Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 10, 2023, the requestor sought “all GPS/GEOLocation data for all School Busses operated by NRT for Malden Public Schools for the time period Monday, August 28, 2023 through Friday, September 29, 2023.” The School responded on October 24, 2023, providing a fee estimate. Objecting to the fees, the requestor appealed, and this case was opened as a result. In an email to this office on October 27, 2023, the requestor “asks that this appeal be withdrawn.” In light of the requestor’s October 27th email, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
