Magraw appealing the nonresponses of the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office (Office) to requests for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 16, 2023, Mr. Magraw requested the following records: SPR23/2749 [The] report, or reports … written by [an identified individual], of the Walpole Police Department, informing of the time(s) and date(s) [an identified individual] went to the Old Post Road area, in Walpole, and the name(s) of the neighbor(s) . . . at that/those time(s) and the information provided by that/those neighbor(s)[.] SPR23/2750 1. A copy of the report which would have been written, created, from the interview of [an identified individual], the afternoon of July 24, 1990[;] 2. A copy of the report which would have been written, created, from the interview of [identified individuals], by [an identified] Detective between November 1990 to January 1991[;] 3. A copy of the report which would have been written, created, from the interview of [an identified individual], by [an identified] Detective on December 14 [sic] 1994. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Magraw petitioned this office and these appeals, SPR23/2749 and SPR23/2750, were opened as a result. Accordingly, the Office is ordered to provide Mr. Magraw with a response to his requests, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
