See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 31, 2023, Ms. Gordon requested “[a]ll cash-related evidence and property that was signed into and out of the Lawrence Police Department’s evidence and property unit between September 1, 2023, and October 12, 2023.” The Department responded and acknowledged the request on November 1, 2023. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Ms. Gordon petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/2821, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Ms. Gordon’s request with further responses sent on November 30, 2023, and December 4, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s November 1st response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Gordon may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s supplemental responses within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
