See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 6, 2023, Ms. Corby requested the following records: [1.] … all call log records pertaining to calls made to the Canton Police Department on November 5th, 2023, specifically related to the response of peaceful protesters on Washington Street in Canton from 12PM-3:00PM…. [2.] [A]ll video recordings of the peaceful protestors.… [3.] [R]ecordings of dispatch call logs and or computer aided dispatch logs.… [4.] [R]ecording of radio transmissions during that time period related to that area. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Corby petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/2840 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned the Department provided a response to Ms. Corby on November 8, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Corby may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
