General Counsel Fall River Housing Authority 85 Morgan Street Fall River, MA 02722 Dear Attorney Sousa: I have received the petition of Todd Wallack, of WBUR, appealing the nonresponse of the Fall River Housing Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 30, 2023, Mr. Wallack requested the following records: [1.] Any correspondence with DHCD since 2019 regarding fines for failing to obtain waivers for vacant units. [2.] Minutes of any housing authority meetings where fines were discussed. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Wallack petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/2887, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Authority provided Mr. Wallack with a response dated November 30, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Authority’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Wallack has appealed the November 30th response which is currently opened as SPR23/2924.
