The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 7, 2023 SPR23/2907 Lori West Town Clerk Town of Hull 253 Atlantic Avenue Hull, MA 02045 Dear Ms. West: I have received the petition of Heather MacDonald appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Hull (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 14, 2023, Ms. MacDonald requested the following records: [1.] Any and all email and text messages to [an identified individual] regarding [an identified address] from the time of his hire to present. [2.] All emails between you … and any and all departments/[T]own personnel regarding [an identified address]. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. MacDonald petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/2907 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned the Town provided a response to Ms. MacDonald on December 5, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. MacDonald may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Heather MacDonald James B.
