The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records January 5, 2024 SPR23/3076 Janice Spencer Records Access Officer City of Medford City Hall, Room 206 85 George P. Hassett Drive Medford, MA 02155 Dear Ms. Spencer: I have received the petition of Mary appealing the response of the City of Medford (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 2, 2023, Mary requested the following: [T]he SeeClickFix and Citizenserve platforms ... publically available statistics on response times to tickets, applications, and complaints. As a bonus it would be great to be able to parce [sic] these records out by type and category. The City responded on the same day, and following further correspondence, on December 2, 2023, the City asked Mary to modify the scope of her request. Following still further correspondence, and unsatisfied with the City’s responses, Mary appealed, and this case was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned that the City provided a supplemental response to Mary and this office on December 27, 2023. As this appeal was opened based on the City’s previous responses, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If unresolved issues remain, Mary may further appeal the substantive nature of the City’s December 27th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
