Pedercini Town of Williamstown – Fire District 34 North Street Williamstown, MA 01267 Dear Chief Pedercini: I have received the petition of the Government Accountability Project (“requestor”) appealing the response of the Town of Williamstown Fire District (District) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 26, 2023, the requestor sought the following records: [1.] All records pertaining to all state and federal grants applied for or received by the Williamstown Fire District regarding the construction of a new Williamstown Fire District Station from January 1, 2023, and the date the Fire District receives this request. [2.] All records pertaining to all donations received by the Williamstown Fire District regarding the construction of a new Williamstown Fire District Station from January 1, 2023, and the date the Fire District receives this request. The District provided a response on January 10, 2024. Unsatisfied with the District’s response, the requestor petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/0119, was opened as a result. In an email dated January 12, 2024, the requestor informed this office that they wish to withdraw the appeal. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
