The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records January 30, 2024 SPR24/0143 Jean McCarthy Division of Occupational Licensure 1000 Washington Street, Suite 710 Boston, MA 02118 Dear Ms. McCarthy: I have received the petition of Paul Hardiman appealing the response of the Division of Occupational Licensure (Division) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 22, 2023, Mr. Hardiman requested “… records regarding the Sheet Metal Board meeting held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, 9:00 AM…” The Division provided a response on January 3, 2024. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Hardiman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/0143, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Division provided a further response on January 29, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Division’s January 3, 2024 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Hardiman may appeal the substantive nature of the Division’s January 29th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Paul Hardiman One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
