The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records February 9, 2024 SPR24/0368 Matthew Ahl Chief of Police Town of Plympton Police Department 7 Palmer Road Plympton, MA 02367 Dear Chief Ahl: I have received the petition of Suzzane Xavier-Sakr appealing the nonresponse of the Plympton Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 10, 2024, Ms. Xavier-Sakr requested: [1.] …[A]ll information pertaining to illegal cameras someone put on my property[,] October 10, 2023- Officer ORR[;] [2.] Tresspasser [sic] report December 20, 2023[;] [3.] Camera found and seized by officer Orr[,] January 10, 2024. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Xavier-Sakr petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/0368, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Ms. Xavier-Sakr with a response dated February 8, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Xavier-Sakr may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
