The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records February 21, 2024 SPR24/0387 Kerri L. Johnson Records Access Officer Massachusetts POST Commission 84 State Street, 2nd Floor Boston, MA 02109 Dear Ms. Johnson: I have received the petition of Justin Morin, of the City of Springfield Law Department, appealing the response of Massachusetts POST Commission (Commission) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 21, 2023, Mr. Morin submitted a request through the Commission’s portal requesting a copy of the transcript and any audio or video recordings of testimony which occurred during an Adjudicatory Hearing on October 19, 2023 in Case No. 23-001-C (ED22-001-C), Reference No. BIG-R2022- 10884. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned the Commission provided Mr. Morin with a response on February 21, 2024, which included some responsive records. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Commission’s prior response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Morin may appeal the substantive nature of the Commission’s February 21st response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Justin P.
