Givan appealing the response of the Worcester Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 8, 2024, Mr. Givan requested, “…the salary and employment date of each person listed below, and a list of all assistants, secretaries, et cetera that are in support of them, including their salaries and employment dates.” The School responded on February 8, 2024. Unsatisfied with the School’s response, Mr. Givan petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/0483, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School intends on providing a supplemental response to Mr Givan. Accordingly, the School is ordered to provide Mr. Givan with said response in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Givan may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety days.
