Rousseau Records Access Officer Southeastern Regional Transit Authority 700 Pleasant Street, Suite 320 New Bedford, MA 02740 Dear Mr. Rousseau: I have received the petition of Geraldine Mullaly appealing the nonresponse of the Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 20, 2024, Ms. Mullaly requested, “[f]or each/every FY in which PPRH, PPRM, PPT, and CPP are listed as Monitor or Fail on the attached chart for Route 114-Swansea, please provide copies of the… corrective plan developed for each category [and] corrective plan developed/implemented for each category[.]” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Mullaly petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/0725, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, it remains unclear whether the Authority has provided a response. Accordingly, the Authority is ordered to provide Ms. Mullaly with a response to her request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Mullaly may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
