The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records March 18, 2024 SPR24/0786 Mary F. Watson, CMMC Town Clerk Town of Monson 110 Main Street Monson, MA 01057 Dear Ms. Watson: I have received the petition of Roxanne Gunther appealing the response of the Town of Monson (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 12, 2024, Ms. Gunther requested “… [a booklet that] says on the front of it Board of Selectmen Rules and Regulations. … [and] has a blue cover.” The Town responded on February 12, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Gunther petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/0786, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided Ms. Gunther with a supplemental response on March 18, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s February 12, 2024 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Gunther may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s March 18th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Roxanne Gunther One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
