See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 12, 2024, Attorney Horne requested, “[a]ll current Massachusetts State Police standard operating procedures.” On January 12, 2024, the Department acknowledged Attorney Horne’s request, and provided a reference number for tracking purposes. On March 15, 2024, after not receiving any responsive records, Attorney Horne petitioned this office and this appeal was opened. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned the Department provided Attorney Horne with a response on March 21, 2024, which included the responsive records. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s January 12th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Horne may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s March 21st response within ninety (90) calendar days.
