The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records March 29, 2024 SPR24/0814 Michelle Sheehan Records Access Officer Town of Carver 108 Main Street Carver, MA 02330 Dear Ms. Sheehan: I have received the petition of Nancy Ryan appealing the response of the Town of Carver (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 12, 2024, Ms. Ryan requested, “[a] copy of all invoices from Clifford and Kenny where it pertains to the investigation regarding the COA, [several identified individuals] from 2022 to present.” On February 27, 2024, the Town provided a response. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Ryan petitioned the Supervisor of Records, and this appeal, SPR24/0814 was opened. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided a further response to Ms. Ryan on March 28, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s February 27, 2024 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Ryan may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s March 28, 2024 response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Nancy Ryan One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
