Special Counsel Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency 1 Beacon Street Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Chan: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the response of the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (Agency) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 14, 2024, Mr. Herman requested copies of the following: [1.] Lease for the building MassHousing occupies[;] [2.] Agreements for parking spaces[;] [3.] Agreements with outside contractors, consultants, and/or the like[.] The Agency responded on February 29, 2024 and March 8, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Agency’s responses, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/0879, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Agency provided a further response to Mr. Herman on March 29, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Agency’s March 8th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of the Agency’s March 29th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
