Superintendent of Schools Record Access Officer Hingham Public Schools 220 Central Street Hingham, MA 02043 Dear Dr. Adams: I have received the petition of Kerin Carli appealing the nonresponse of the Hingham Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 22, 2024, Ms. Carli requested, “copies of public records that relate to special education audits for the Hingham Public School district, from Fiscal Year 2019- 2024…” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Carli petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/1054, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided Ms. Carli with a response dated April 8, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Carli may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s April 8th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
