The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records April 29, 2024 SPR24/1090 Colleen Mejia, Esq. City Solicitor City of Everett 484 Broadway, Room 10 Everett, MA 02149 Dear Attorney Mejia: I have received the petition of Joan P. Beckta appealing the March 28, 2024 response of the City of Everett (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 20, 2024, Ms. Beckta requested “[p]ayments to ClearGov calendar [years] 2020-2024, including POs, check copies, invoices, and any other documents [for ClearGov].” On March 28, 2024, the City provided Ms. Beckta with records responsive to her request. After receipt of the records, Ms. Beckta emailed the City, stating, “…I got 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2024. Did we not pay them anything in 2022?” After the City did not respond to her email, Ms. Beckta petitioned the Supervisor of Records and this appeal was opened. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, in an email to this office on April 24th, Ms. Beckta stated, “I believe this matter can be closed. . . . I withdraw the appeal. . . .” Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Joan P.
