The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records May 20, 2024 SPR24/1368 Lisa Towne Records Access Officer Attleboro Police Department 12 Union Street Attleborough, MA 02703 Dear Ms. Towne: I have received the petition of Bernadette L. Sabra, Esq., on behalf of Steven P. Sabra, Esq., both of Sabra Law Offices appealing the response of the Attleboro Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66 § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 29, 2024, Attorney Steven P. Sabra requested, “…a copy of the crash report regarding a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident on or about March 2, 2024 on Pleasant Street in Attleboro, Massachusetts.” Previous Appeal The requested records were the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR24/1062 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (April 24, 2024). In my April 24th determination, I directed the Department to provide a response to Attorney Sabra. The Department provided a response on April 29, 2024. Unsatisfied with the response, Attorney Bernadette L. Sabra petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/1368, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided a further response to Attorney Sabra on May 10, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s April 29th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Sabra may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s May 10th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
