The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records May 9, 2024 SPR24/1384 Karen Palumbo, Esq. Records Access Officer Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office 166 Main Street Brockton, MA 02301 Dear Attorney Palumbo: I have received the petition of Emma Rindlisbacher appealing the response of the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 3, 2024, Ms. Rindlisbacher requested: A copy of the interview with [an identified individual] where he describes making a stabbing motion…. [and where he says] “…he was under some sort of attack”…. Please release the video in its entirety without redactions. The Office responded on May 7, 2024. Unsatisfied with this response, Ms. Rindlisbacher petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/1384, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Office provided Ms. Rindlisbacher with a further response dated May 8, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Office’s May 7th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Rindlisbacher may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s May 8th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
