The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records May 21, 2024 SPR24/1390 Michael Simoneau Lieutenant/Records Access Officer Falmouth Police Department 750 Main Street Falmouth, MA 02540 Dear Lieutenant Simoneau: I have received the petition of Megan Hamilton-McKeon appealing the response of the Falmouth Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 11, 2024, Ms. Hamilton-McKeon requested “a copy of [an identified individual’s] report #24-7879 as well as any other SRO reports regarding [an identified individual.]” The Department responded on April 11, 2024, stating that “[t]his report is incomplete at this time.” Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Ms. Hamilton- McKeon petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/1390, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Ms. Hamilton-McKeon with a further response on April 30, 2024. As this appeal was opened based on the Department’s April 11th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If unresolved issues remain, Ms. Hamilton-McKeon may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s April 30th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Megan Hamilton-McKeon One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
