The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records May 23, 2024 SPR24/1444 Hanne Rush, Esq. Assistant Attorney General Records Access Officer Office of the Attorney General One Ashburton Place, 20th Floor Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Rush: I have received the petition of Mitch Ruscitti appealing the response of the Office of the Attorney General (AGO) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 29, 2024, Mr. Ruscitti requested the following records: [1] ... any documentation and communications received by this office regarding the Complete Streets Project in Hopedale, MA on Adin Street; specifically, any communications and records pertaining to Adin Street in Hopedale, MA and/or the Complete Streets Grant awarded to Hopedale, MA; [2] any records, documents, or communications from [identified individuals] regarding Adin Street, Complete Streets, or Hopedale. I would further request any documents or communications sent from the Office of Inspector General to anyone at the AGO’s office regarding Adin Street in Hopedale, MA or the Complete Streets Grant in Hopedale. [3] ... any communications regarding Complete Streets and/or Adin street to and from [identified individuals]. The AGO responded on May 13, 2024. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Ruscitti petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/1444, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the AGO provided Mr. Ruscitti with a supplemental response dated May 20, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the AGO’s May 13, 2024 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Ruscitti may appeal the substantive nature of the AGO’s May 20th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
