The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records May 23, 2024 SPR24/1479 Ruthy Barros Records Access Officer Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination One Ashburton Place, Suite 601 Boston, MA 02108 Dear Ms. Barros: I have received the petition of Denise Leboeuf appealing the response of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (Commission) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66 § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 24, 2024, Ms. Leboeuf requested any records related to docket number 20WPA00327. The Commission responded on May 6, 2024. Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. Leboeuf petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/1479, was opened as a result. Based on an email sent to this office from the Commission on May 20, 2024, it is my understanding that the Commission intends on providing a subsequent response to Ms. Leboeuf. Accordingly, the Commission is ordered to provide Ms. Leboeuf with said response in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Leboeuf may appeal the substantive nature of the Commission’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
