See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 9, 2024, Mr. Haller requested, “... copy of all education records in the School District’s possession that pertain to [an identified individual]...” On May 23, 2024, Mr. Haller clarified his request as follows: “...all emails that meet the following criteria:” [1] Dated between April 1, 2024 and today. [2] Refer to [an identified individual] by first and/or last name, student ID, or other PII[.] [3] Refer to [an identified individual] by first and/or last name, as ... father or other[.] [4] Refer to [an identified individual] by name or association as ... advocate[.] [5] References to ... IEP Team meeting of April 26, 2024[.] [6] References to ... transportation issues to and/or from school[.] [7] References to the N1 documents generated from said meeting[.] [8] References to BSEA Hearing request concerning [an identified individual] by name or BSEA #... [9] References to the Records Request we are dealing with[.] [10] Any of said emails generated by or sent to any of the following [identified] recipients... The School responded on May 18, 2024 and May 23, 2024. Unsatisfied with the responses, Mr. Haller petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/1628, was opened as a result. In an email dated June 12, 2024, Mr. Haller informed this office that he wishes to withdraw his appeal. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
