See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 22, 2024, Mr. Emison requested the following: [1.] A list of all police officers employed by Marlborough Police Department since January 1, 2021, with the following information: [1.] Employee Identification number [2.] Full name [3.] Badge number [4.] Rank [5.] Status (i.e, “active” or “suspended with pay”) [6.] Date the Individual joined the Marlborough Police Department [7.] Date the indivudal left the Marlborough Police Department (if applicable) [2.] Any existing documentation on how the Marlborough Police Department assigns and tracks officer ID numbers… including changes to these ID numbers over time. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Emison petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/1660, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department intends on providing a response to Mr. Emison. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Emison with said response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office.
