The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records June 12, 2024 SPR24/1675 Lisa Dimier Records Access Officer Marblehead Public Schools Administration Building 9 Widger Road Marblehead, MA 01945 Dear Ms. Dimier: I have received the petition of Kate Haesche Thomson appealing the response of the Marblehead Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 17, 2024, Ms. Thomson requested, “the complete set of responses from the recent communications survey…” The School responded on June 3, 2024, by requesting an additional 15 days to respond. Unsatisfied with the School’s response, Ms. Thomson petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/1675, was opened as a result. Subsequently, the School provided a supplemental response on June 10, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s June 3rd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Thomson may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s June 10th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Kate Haesche Thomson One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832 • Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
